About the founder - Barrie Voth
At Coast 2 Coast Regenerative Agriculture, the focus is on creating space for farmers to think clearly, share openly, and learn from one another while exploring regenerative agriculture practices and base their decisions through holistic management.
Through coaching, masterminds, and conversations with other farmers, the goal is to help individuals gain clarity, test ideas, and move forward with greater confidence. Farming can often feel isolating, and many of the best insights come through thoughtful discussion, collaboration, and hearing how others are approaching similar challenges.
These gatherings bring farmers together to share experiences, discuss real-world decisions, and support one another in building farms that are profitable, resilient, and aligned with regenerative principles.
The aim is simple: better thinking, better decisions, and stronger farms — for the land, the families who steward it, and the communities they serve.

Why Coast 2 Coast Exists
The vision for Coast 2 Coast Regenerative Agriculture came into focus in the summer of 2025—though in truth, the seeds had been planted decades earlier.
That year, my family and I made a decision to slow down and do things differently. And that is what Coast 2 Coast is about; doing things differently. We sold our farm, packed up our lives, and spent three months travelling across Canada—camping, exploring, and simply being together as a family. What began as a journey, became a turning point. By the end of it, we hadn’t just driven from coast to coast—we had moved our lives from British Columbia to Nova Scotia.
That time on the road gave me space to reflect. To listen. To really see what was happening across the country in agriculture.
Coast 2 Coast did not begin as a business idea. It began as a growing concern I had carried for years—concern over small family farms being absorbed by large industrial models, over rising dependence on chemical fertilizers, soils losing life and structure, forests being cleared, livestock removed from the land and concentrated into feedlots. And what struck me most was this: it wasn’t isolated. These patterns were repeating themselves across every province.
Over the years, I’ve worked in both conventional and regenerative systems. I’ve managed livestock, my own grazing system, and farm operations. I’ve lived with the pressure of rising input costs, the weight of decisions that affect both land, and family, and the reality that farming is not just a business—but a responsibility and a calling.
Coast 2 Coast Regenerative Agriculture was born out of a simple conviction:
Farmers need space to collaborate rather than compete.
The next generation needs access—not just to land, but to knowledge and mentorship.
And every farmer, regardless of size or location, deserves access to practical insight, community, and regenerative principles that build resilience over time.
This work exists to serve the land, the people who steward it, and the generations that will depend on it long after we are gone.
My Life as a Farmer
Barrie started farming as a toddler and never looked back.
As a teenager, he was raising rabbits for pet stores across British Columbia, selling meat rabbits in the Fraser Valley, and buying, finishing, and marketing calves through the local livestock auction. Agriculture wasn’t a hobby — it was responsibility early on.
He went on to work in dairy, milking cows at all hours of the day and night, handling field work, and experiencing firsthand the demands and discipline of commercial agriculture.
Years later, that foundation evolved into raising sheep and goats — eventually building a commercial dairy goat operation milking 200 does and marketing genetics across Canada.
After stepping away from livestock and relocating across the country, Barrie founded Coast 2 Coast — built on decades of hands-on experience and a deep respect for the realities farmers face.
Today, he works with producers who want to align with nature, strengthen decision-making, improve profitability, and collaborate with serious farmers from every province.
Watching a healthy herd of content livestock grazing from your deck is an amazing feeling.
