Our Mission

At Coast 2 Coast Regenerative Agriculture, our mission is simple: to help farmers make clearer decisions, build resilient farms, and create lives they genuinely want to live. We do this by bringing farmers together through thoughtful coaching, peer learning, and decision-making guided by holistic management principles.

But what does that actually look like in practice?

Strategic Farm Advisory

Through one-on-one advisory conversations, we work with farmers who want to build profitable and resilient operations. These sessions are focused, practical discussions where we examine your current farm model, explore opportunities, and identify the strategies that can move your farm forward.

Together we look at the realities of your operation—your land base, enterprises, markets, and long-term goals—and work toward decisions that improve profitability, efficiency, and long-term sustainability. My approach focuses on real numbers, clear thinking, and enterprises that work within today’s agricultural landscape.

Whether you are starting a new venture, refining an existing operation, or planning the next stage of growth, these sessions provide honest feedback, practical insight, and a strategic path forward.

Why This Work Matters

To understand who these conversations are for, it helps to look at the current realities of Canadian agriculture.

  • The average Canadian farmer is between 55 and 60 years old.

  • Fewer than 15% of farms have a formal succession plan in place.

  • Approx. 60% of farmers report experiencing high levels of stress, and significant anxiety.

  • Roughly 35% meet the classification for depression.

  • Farmers are estimated to be twice as likely to die by suicide compared to the general population.

At the same time, many farmers are facing significant pressures:

  • rising farmland prices

  • increasing input costs

  • labour shortages

  • climate variability such as drought and flooding

  • production uncertainty and crop failures

  • and fewer young farmers entering the sector.

These challenges are real, and they affect farmers across the country.

Who These Conversations Are For

These sessions are designed for farmers who are navigating important decisions in their operations or their lives.

This may include:

  • farmers thinking about succession or transition planning

  • young farmers entering the sector

  • farmers thinking of growing their business by either expansion or adding an additional enterprise.

  • those feeling financial pressure or operational uncertainty

  • farmers experiencing stress, burnout, or isolation

  • anyone who simply needs a trusted space to think through decisions and talk openly about the realities of farming

Whether you are early in your career or at a later stage of your farming journey, having thoughtful conversations with someone who understands the challenges of agriculture can make a meaningful difference.

A Place for Honest Conversation

Canadian farmers carry an enormous responsibility—caring for land, animals, communities, and family legacies. Too often, they carry these burdens alone.

At Coast 2 Coast, we believe farmers deserve spaces where they can think clearly, talk openly, and explore the future of their farms with confidence.

You can join a Mastermind Group to learn alongside other farmers, or schedule a one-on-one advisory session to work through the specific questions and challenges on your mind.

Sometimes the most valuable step forward begins with a simple conversation.

If you’re a Canadian farmer interested in joining a Mastermind group or working one-on-one with me as a strategic advisor, I invite you to reach out and start the conversation.
